Dining Is Memorable At This Ohio B&B
Though our name says “bed and breakfast,” we really should call ourselves “bed and dining!“ We don’t stop cooking with breakfast, we’re just getting started then. And that means our guests can enjoy bountiful country breakfasts as well as relaxing evening dinners.
Mornings begin at the crack of dawn, with coffee brewing for early risers, and enticing aromas of muffins and scones baking. Breakfasts are hearty, and are made with fresh ingredients—often from our garden or from local suppliers. You’ll be treated to dishes such as stuffed French toast, artichoke-tomato strata, and herb-scrambled eggs with tomato basil sauce. And always, there is fresh fruit, our specialty coffee, and juice to complete the meal. We’re happy to accommodate dietary requests too. Gluten-free, low-sugar, vegetarian, vegan—we’ve got you covered!
On weekends, we add delicious four-course dinners to our menu. Guests appreciate these, because it means they don’t have to drive anywhere or stand in line, and can enjoy a leisurely meal. Dinners are at 7:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and most holiday Sundays. During the rest of the week, Monday to Thursday, we’ll be happy to do dinners if we have enough guests who are interested. All dinners are $35-45 per person.
Would you rather have a casual meal or are arriving later than 7:00 p.m.? Our Loaf and Ladle Package is designed just for you. This option, available any night of the week, includes a generous bowl of homemade soup or chili, a loaf of crusty bread, small fruit and cheese plate, and dessert. Guests are served from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., and it’s $50 for two.
And for those who are seeking a little romance, we have Dinner Baskets made for two, available any day. We start with a charming wicker basket, cloth napkins, real china, silverware, and glasses. Then we add a delicious array of food: crusty bread, fruit and cheese, salad, hot entrée, dessert, cookies, chocolates, and a bottle of sparkling cider or juice. You can enjoy your basket in your room or cottage, or outside in the garden or other area of the Inn. Each basket is made for two, and $100.
Come for a visit and savor all we have to offer!
