About The Fair

The Knox County Fair has been a local tradition since it was held 1847 at a resident’s property. Since then, the fair has moved location three times. The first move was to the local courthouse; then the fair went to Coshocton Avenue, and finally to its current location on Fairgrounds Road. Today’s fair attendees can experience some of the best entertainment around! Grab a sweet treat, ride a thrilling ride on the ferris wheel, and then visit the animals on the grounds.

Attractions

The fair has plenty of exciting attractions to enjoy! Some of the classic entertainment includes rides, animal shows, a demolition derby, and a country music show.  This year’s unique attractions include a DinoRoar! exhibit and an Indian artifacts display. And let’s not forget about all the great food choices, including the locally famous porkette sandwich.  So, no matter if you’re in the mood for thrilling fun, tasty treats, or a unique experience, the fair has it!

Admission

There are several Admission pricing options, including a season’s ticket.  Daily General Admission is $8, seniors and veterans pay $5, and Wednesday is free for Veterans, Thursday is free for seniors.  Parking is free.
