Discover Northeast Ohio’s Raven’s Glenn Winery

With a heritage that goes back to Italy, you could say that wine is in the blood of Beau and Tracy Guilliams, owners of Raven’s Glenn Winery & Restaurant in West Lafayette, Ohio. A cluster of green grapes on the vine.

The business was begun by Beau’s parents in 2003, when they turned out nearly 2,500 gallons of wine. Today the winery produces around 500,000 bottles and is known as one of Ohio’s top wineries. Located just 45 minutes from White Oak Inn, the winery is listed in our Inn Wine Trail (more about that later!), and makes for a delightful visit.

The winery has a picturesque setting with views of Tuscarawas River Goose Island and the vineyards where Vidal Blanc grapes are grown. Raven’s Glenn is an impressive producer, making more than 20 different varietals from dry to sweet. Whites include a lightly oaky Chardonnay and a dry Sauvignon Blanc. Reds cover a wide range of flavor and include a classic Cabernet; deep-flavored R2 estate wine; and the gold-medal winning, fruity Vino Della Casa.

Visitors can enjoy a tasting of the company’s wines in Raven’s Glenn’s large tasting room or at its restaurant, which serves Italian dishes created from long-time family recipes.
