Your Guide to Baltic Mill Winery

Taste Locally Infused Flavors

Experience Baltic Mill’s flagship Rowville Red, a sweet Concord-based wine named for the town’s original name. For a lighter choice, try Just Peachy, a summer-like Chardonnay-based option. Fans of dry reds can savor Rosso Del Baltico, an Italian-style Amarone with notes of fig, black cherry, and chocolate. Baltic Mill Winery offers a wine selection to suit every palate, featuring both sweet and dry wines, as well as ciders.

Perfect Pairings

In addition to a gorgeous selection of wine, you can also indulge in a variety of hors d’oeuvres. Pair your beverage selections with a meat and cheese plate that enhances the flavors in your glass, or opt for a hummus and vegetable spread garnished with sweet red pepper relish. They also serve pork BBQ sliders and several dessert options. If you’d rather indulge in a full meal, feel free to pack your own picnic or grab a dinner basket from our inn’s kitchen and bring it with you!

The History

Baltic Mill Winery has humble beginnings. The original structure started as a flour mill in the mid-1800s. At the time, it was Ohio’s largest flour mill, using the newly built railroad to haul grain in and ship out the freshly milled flour. After viewing the historical three-floor building, Dan and Judy knew it would be the perfect setting to start their wine-making journey. With Dan’s background in microbiology and Judy’s drive for success, they are now creating their own legacy in the rustic building. Patrons are invited to explore the historic structure and marvel at its beauty as they savor a glass of wine.

Thoughtfully Restored Architecture

While walking through the winery, you can see the dedication that has gone into maintaining the integrity of this historic building. The walls and ceilings are stripped to showcase the craftsmanship of the timber and large beams. Refurbished milling machinery sits as a focal point of the winery, giving visitors a glimpse into the “Baltic Mill” portion of Baltic Mill Winery’s original purpose.
