Wine & Dine: A Different Kind of Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving weekend is an excellent opportunity to visit a few local wineries. Raven’s Glenn Winery & Restaurant and Heritage Vineyard Winery offer wine tasting and occasionally have live music. While they may not be open on Thanksgiving Day, you will be able to sample a sweet Cranberry Crush wine or a dry Chardonnay during the long weekend.

You will also want to try the delicious Amish restaurants in the area. While many establishments are not open on Thanksgiving Day, there are a handful of local restaurants that offer takeaway on Turkey Day. Our friendly and knowledgeable innkeepers will be happy to help you find the best places to dine during your stay.

Fall is a beautiful time for hiking, biking, exploring waterfalls, and so much more. Visit the famous Bridge of Dreams (covered bridge) or go for a walk on the Kokosing Gap Trail. If you are feeling adventurous, trek to the Honey Run Waterfall, which is only a nine-minute drive from the inn. The area surrounding our inn offers a myriad of outdoor recreational opportunities.
